Frank Chester (b.1939) has quietly gained a following around the world for his awe-inspiring presentations in which the geometry behind his Art is brought to life, often with jaw-dropping results. An artist and educator for more than 32 years, Frank began a specific geometric investigation 17 years ago based upon an indication by the Austrian philosopher Rudolf Steiner. In the 17 years since, Frank’s Art has taken a decidedly spiritual direction while maintaining geometric lawfulness. He works with spiritual scientific research methods that belong to a contemporary alchemical tradition.

As a beautiful movement discipline and artistic experience, eurythmy serves many people as their daily practice of sacred mindful movement, drawing upon the creative forces of the universe and their presence in our own body, soul, and spirit. Eurythmy teaches us how to connect with the planets and the constellations, with the forces that have shaped the natural world, with the forces of language, poetry, and music, and how to unfold all of these in deeply conscious, authentic gesture. It brings joy as an art form, grounding as a personal practice, and healing as a therapeutic modality.
Would you like to meet with other biodynamic urban gardeners, preparation makers, medicinal herb growers, or educators at the conference?
How about talking about farmland succession or the future of seed saving work?
Meetups and discussions will create space for conference participants to self-organize informal conversations where they can share questions, ideas, and experiences with one another during the following meals at the conference:
Browse our exhibit hall to find products and information to support your farming and gardening from businesses and organizations from across the continent. The Biodynamic Association's bookstore will also be open throughout the conference.
