HEALTH FROM THE SOIL UP

The Quivira Coalition, Holistic Management International, and American Grassfed Association will collaborate again to convene ranchers, farmers, environmentalists, land managers, scientists, medical professionals, nutritionists, students, teachers, and others for four days—November 19-22, 2019 in Albuquerque, New Mexico—to explore ideas of Health from the Soil Up.

Learn how to set up your home rainwater collection system to water your landscape, garden and trees. We will cover all the components needed to have a great working cistern. Topics will include cistern types, first flush, supply, overflow, filtration, freezing issues, above ground and below ground options, safety and best practices for harvesting water from the sky, to your roof to your cistern. We will also install a solar pump to feed into existing drip irrigation system. Class will be taught by Joseph Costion and Jacobo Marcus. Spaces limited so RSVP today. Bring your own lunch!
