As the dandelions come into full bloom at the Honeybee Sanctuary, we give a sigh of relief and a prayer of thanks. For the beekeeper, dandelions mark the end of scarcity—the page turning from worry, shortage, and diminishing colonies, towards new growth, health, and the guarantee that our bees have survived yet another Winter. Such is the value of this source of nectar and pollen for the bees. To see the fields spotted with those beautiful yellow flowers brings true joy to our hearts!

October 13, 2024: Fall Prep making at Winter Green Farm.
Come help bury the Biodynamic preparations! We will begin early, but welcome people whenever they come. Please bring a sack Lunch.
Join us in burying Biodynamic Preparations 500, 502, 503, 505, 506, and barrel compost. Making the preparations is intent-filled work as well as a time to learn much from our fellow farmers, gardeners and students. This is an important event to meet our production goals.
May 26, 2024: Spring Prep-making group at Wintergreen Farm (digging up). We will be adding nettles and valerian preps to better match when the plants are closer to harvesting stage (please bring materials if you can).

From Thursday 9th to Sunday 12th of May you will have the chance to meet engaged organic and biodynamic producers, taste olive oils and be part of professional discussions. Experience also the excellent Croatian hospitality with good meals and fine organic and biodynamic wines.
Adorn yourself with Dandelions and come to celebrate with this golden friend of the farm . We held this annual festival to tell people goodness of this plant. All part of Dandelion flower leaf root are edible and has medicinal quality therefore , let us stop spraying harmful chemicals on them. This will help pollinators, wild animals, and us, reduction of toxic chemicals entering our soil, aquifer, We have Educational workshop, Live Music, Face Painting, Flower Crown making, Crafts . Let us have a good time with sweet golden friend of farm.
We are celebrating the 100 year anniversary of Lectures held Koberwitz in 1924, Agriculture later came along to the book :The Spiritual Foundations for the Renewal of Agriculture by Rudolf Steiner. We will talk about what is in this living book and how it has been an influence in our life . Discussion lecture1 to 8. 3:00-3:30 Meet and Greet each other . 3:30-4:00 KK's farm tour. 4:00-6:30 Agriculture Course study. 6:30-7:30 Dinner Break 7:30-7:45 Agnihotra. 8:00 Bonfire and reflection time.
