Making the BD500 Horn Manure Preparation - Avena Botanicals
219 Mill St, Rockport, ME
We will spend time with Deb Soule at her farm apothecary as we gather to honor the autumnal tradition of making the BD500 Horn Manure Preparation. The manure will be supplied by the cows at Misty Brook Farm in Albion Maine, where Elexis stewards the land with the biodynamic preparations. Bring your horns and join us while we stir the manure for an hour, imbuing it with meditative force and structure. When the horn stuffing is complete your personal horns will go home with you to bury for their winter transformation. A number of community horns will be stuffed and then buried at an agreed upon location to transform and be shared by our group when they are unearthed. The Avena Apothecary horns will be buried that day by us in a celebration of the turn of the season.
