Churchtown Dairy is delighted to celebrate spring and kick off the growing season with its First Annual Dandelion Festival - Saturday April 30th, 10am - 1pm. This free, outdoor event is for the whole family, apartment dwellers and farmers alike. Guests are invited to enjoy a dandelion harvest, food, live music, a gardener’s talk, face painting, and much more!
The festivities will kick off with harvesting dandelions from the front fields. Throughout the festival there will be activities and entertainment for the young and old, including dandelion crown making, face painting, children’s story time, live music, a tour of the farm, and a “cooking with dandelions” demonstration.
The First Annual Churchtown Dairy Dandelion Festival is free and all are welcome. It is brought to Columbia County by Sonomi Obinata, co-founder of the Long Island Dandelion Festival, held every year at KK’s Farms.
