Family owned Pu’u O Hoku Ranch stewards the forest, agricultural and conservation lands on the east end of Molokai. Our central business is a Retreat Center, from which we serve vegetables and fruit from our biodynamic garden.
We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated, experienced:
GARDEN INTERN
You will be responsible for sowing, growing and delivering fresh vegetables to our kitchen, CSA style veggie bags for sale, stocking the Molokai Food Hub and hosting schoolchildren for educational programs. You will work under the supervision of our Horticulturalist in conjunction with the other agricultural programs on the ranch. This position calls for a self-motivated, resourceful person, interested in agriculture, learning/practicing biodynamic and Korean Natural Farming methods, and social skills to work as part of a diverse team. Work expected is full time- 40 hours weekly in generally regular weekday hours.
Pu’u O Hoku is on the east end of Molokai, a rural island, in a semi-tropical climate. As well as a weekly Stipend, housing and veggies are included, as well as shared use of a vehicle for weekends and after work.
