The IKÚ family integrated by Martha Ocampo, Amaia and Alejandro Altamirano who have been dedicated body and soul to the regeneration of productive ecosystems in their own project for the last 7 years of their lives, causing impressive changes in every place they touch, improving the quality of life of all their environment, by providing their communities with food of the highest nutritional quality and at the same time raising the health of the soil and people.
In every person who has had the pleasure of knowing them, they have left their mark by their loving presence and total dedication to their mission in this life, they have sown seeds in small and large as Always, the spaces where IKÚ has been present to share the knowledge and flavors of country life in what they like to call human scale agriculture and to open their farm and experience to educational projects and impulses that have social impact.
Unfortunately nature in these times is a big and unpredictable wave to swim and destiny has its mysterious events, last Saturday August 17 near La Curva Nayarit a storm took force and the rising of the river took magnitudes that had not happened for more than 20 years, leaving the IKU farm in its path, it disappeared as if it had never existed, taking with it all the soil, tools and infrastructure leaving only stones in the sun.
The IKÚ family has been left with no ground to stand on and at this moment they are devastated both externally and internally, we need your help so that they can survive this catastrophe, regain strength, undertake the search for a new space and then rebuild a new ecosystem to generate their livelihood. So they can regain their task to provide health and vital foods for their community.
