What to Expect
Purpose:
We welcome all who are interested to join us for a warm and welcoming study and fellowship on Saturday. On Sunday there will be a business meeting that is also open to all.
Schedule:
We begin around noon on Saturday with brown bag lunch, study, and meeting until evening including a pot luck dinner.
Sunday starts around 7:30 a.m. with pot luck breakfast, continued meeting, and ending with lunch
Most participants come on Saturday, with the more committed staying through Sunday. All adults are welcome for both.
Food to Bring:
Please bring a brown bag lunch for Saturday and potluck items for dinner.
Also bring food to share for Sunday breakfast and lunch if you will be attending on Sunday
Our intended study focus for Saturday:
Creating biodynamic friendships and activities as a means of building a resilient community to address the needs of the world today.
This will be a time for us to share our concerns, needs, and hopes, to foster ways we can support one another.
If you have the Agriculture Course by Steiner, please bring it for our study.
Fellowship and Fun:
Bring a musical instrument if you have one and want to play during the social time. This study and visiting time is a good way to get to know others who are interested in Biodynamics.
Sunday Business Meeting:
There will be a business meeting on Sunday. This is also the time we plan for the following year and elect, or re-elect, board members and form committees. All are welcome. If you want to be more involved in the group, attendance would be beneficial.
RSVP:
Contact Bonnie if you plan to attend so that we can expect you.
If you intend to spend the night, please inquire with Bonnie about options and to reserve your space.
There will be places to stay on site and nearby. Bonnie has some beds available and areas for sleeping bags. There are other nearby places to stay. Options include: 2 guest rooms and 1 guest house with multiple beds and a couch bed. Bonnie can also provide information regarding options nearby such as paid lodging.
