We are part of a living Earth-Community, diverse in its ways of being and knowing. This community encompasses a multitude of life forms, each possessing unique forms of agency, sentience, intelligence, and communication. Anthropologist Eduardo Kohn asks: “How do forests think?” The Rights of Nature movement wonders: ‘Who is the river in front of us?’ Who are the other non-human communities that constitute the global congregation of beings? In this session, we will explore contemporary trends in the humanities, science, philosophy and spirituality to explore their relevance for holistic and regenerative models of honeybee stewardship and conservation.
This is the last of 6 sessions that can be booked individually. The live-streamed event fosters interactive learning and vibrant discourse, welcoming participants of all experience levels. Led by Michael Thiele and the team of Apis Arborea, the sessions will cultivate a deeper connection with the wisdom of wild honeybees, inspiring a reimagining of apiculture practices in harmony with natural ecosystems. Recordings will be available after each individual session. Scholarships are available upon request.
