Bente Goldstein has run farm programs at “FarmWise" and “A Week on the Farm” in Wisconsin for 25 years now.
She grew up in Norway, went to Waldorf schools there, and became a Waldorf class teacher at Prairie Hill Waldorf School outside of Milwaukee, taking the pioneer class through all eight grades.
Bente is the mother of three sons and is married to Walter Goldstein, a researcher for Biodynamics at Mandaamin Institute.
Her observations of kids on the farm inspired her write a book called “Childhood is a Verb! Why a Virtual Childhood isn’t Enough."
